Frequently asked questions
How can I reserve a table?
The preferred way to make a reservation is online via our website (in the top right corner). If the reservation form does not show your preferred date and time, the restaurant is already fully booked.
Is the restaurant suitable for larger groups?
Yes, our restaurant is very flexible in terms of space, and with an exclusive buyout you can host an event for up to 280 guests.
Is there a dress code?
The recommended dress code is smart casual.
Is the restaurant wheelchair accessible?
Unfortunately, our location in a historic building in the center of Prague comes with more limited accessibility. There are a few steps at the entrance, with which we will of course be happy to help you. The rest of the restaurant is wheelchair accessible.
Where can I park?
Our restaurant is located in the historical center of Prague and also in a residential zone where most parking spaces are reserved for residents with parking permits, so we do not offer parking services. We recommend using the nearest parking garages at Rudolfinum (

) or at the National Theatre (

). From both locations, you can easily reach us on foot (about 10 minutes) or by public transport (tram) to the Karlovy lázně stop.
Does your restaurant have an outdoor terrace?
Yes, we have a small terrace that is only used during the summer months. Terrace tables are in very high demand, so we recommend booking well in advance.
Do you have Wi-Fi?
We offer free Wi-Fi for all our guests. Don’t forget to follow us on Facebook, Instagram, and TripAdvisor.
Can we bring our dog?
Yes, you are welcome to bring your dog, and we will provide a bowl of water.
Can we order flowers?
Yes, you can from Monday to Friday. Payment must be made in advance via payment link (at least 48 hours in advance). A smaller bouquet costs 1,000 CZK, a larger one 1,500 CZK.
Can we bring our own cake or bottle?
Yes, you can, but a cake fee (if you do not order our dessert) or a corkage fee will be charged.
Can we decorate the table?
We usually do not recommend decorating the table. Please keep in mind that cutlery, plates, and glasses are already set and there is not much space available.

Do you accept walk-in guests?
Yes, we do. However, please keep in mind that evenings are often fully booked, so we recommend making a reservation in advance. On busy days, we may not have a free table available for guests without a reservation.
How long does lunch / dinner usually take?
The tasting menu usually takes about 2 to 2,5 hours. If you would like to enjoy this menu, we recommend booking your table no later than 1:30 pm for lunch and 8:30 pm for dinner.
How long will you hold our table if we are late?
If you have a reservation, we will hold your table for up to 15 minutes. Unfortunately, we cannot hold it longer as we are often fully booked and it would not be fair to other guests. We will do our best to accommodate you and offer an alternative table as soon as possible, but please understand that this may not always be easy. If you or your guests are running late, please inform our reception so we can arrange alternative seating.
Can you accommodate guests with allergies, intolerances, or special dietary requirements?
Our kitchen team can accommodate most food allergies, intolerances, and dietary restrictions if informed in advance. To ensure we can best meet your request, please let us know in the reservation form or contact us at

at least 24 hours in advance.
Is the restaurant suitable for children / babies?
Yes, it is. If you need to come with a stroller or require a high chair, please let us know in advance so we can accommodate you.
Why can’t I get a window table or a table with a view even if I request it?
Window tables are always in high demand. If we cannot offer you one, it is because it has already been reserved by someone who booked before you.
Can you recommend another restaurant nearby?
Our sister restaurant V Zátiší is located just a few minutes’ walk from our restaurant.
How does brunch work?
Brunch takes place every weekend on Saturday and Sunday. We serve a fixed menu, which is published on our website at the beginning of each week. The menu changes every weekend. Brunch is served in courses directly to the table. The price includes unlimited consumption of soft drinks, selected wines, prosecco, and fresh orange juice.
What should I do if I am on the waiting list?
The waiting list is used when the restaurant is fully booked. It is not a confirmed reservation. If a table becomes available, we will contact you immediately. If not, no space has opened up. If only the waiting list is available, we will be happy if you use the option to book a table at our sister restaurant:
